TROY, MI - SSOE, Inc. ranked the 12th largest architecture and engineering firm in the US byBuilding Design and Constructionin 2005, announces the promotion of Steven Counsell, civil engineer to manager of the Civil Infrastructure Group.

Mr. Counsell is a 15 year veteran of SSOE and has extensive experience in management and site/civil engineering projects. Mr. Counsell received his BS in Construction Engineering Technology from Northern Montana College. He is also a State of Michigan-certified storm water operator for construction sites.

Mr. Counsell has more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering and team management relating to site and civil engineering design for retail, health care, industrial and commercial sites. He is also familiar with working for both private and public sector clients.
