Pop the Cork for 2010 with Swingin Holiday Hair! Kimmi Hendrix and Prosilk Gold Flat Iron
Well , it is that time again Christmas and New Years Eve is right around the corner. I got the hottest looks for the holiday season, just for you! 2009 was a year of diversity of all different lengths, textures and shapes. The year started off with the bob and worked its way to the short pixie. There was influences from 1940's for those wanting to keep their length, but the 60's worked their way to the front of the line.
Brooklyn, NY, December 18, 2009 (PressReleasePoint) -- The Mod 60's influence gave us Glam Vixen Diana Rigg from "The Avengers", Twiggy, Angie Dickinson, Sultry Eartha Kitt and Wilma Rudolph. Although African Americans were passionately fighting for equal rights in the 60's we wore our variations of these looks while protesting and occasionally getting hosed down. Maybe this is why we are so sensitive to getting our hair wet? Nevertheless 2010 mod interpretations will be hot off the press for the new year!
The Side Part ~ The side part is soft and chic while at the same time strong and independent.
For longer lengths part hair on side sweep neatly back using a snag-less ponytail holder. You have the option of wearing this style smooth or with texture.
The Spiky Look ~ Create the spiky look by evenly distributing your favorite wax throughout your hair, then flat iron hair in the direction you want it to fall. When done use a great shine product like Prosilk Silk Serum
Hot Rollers~ Add beautiful gorgeous curls with airy movement. Hair is soft to the touch and will look irresistible. I love using a light leave in on the hair prior to setting on rollers to ensure a smooth set.
Faux Bob ~ Don't want to cut your tresses but want to flirt with the bob? Flat Iron or opt to edge it up with waves and texture with curling iron. Softly comb back and roll the hair up. Place one pin securely in place to give the optical illusion of the bob cut. A different approach to this style would be to sweep your hair to one side and pin up or down. Be creative and flaunt a rocking do.
Influence from the 60"s ~ Big hair, faux hawks, voluminous body and precision geometric shapes are carefree
You can create these looks with Prosilk Silk Serum and the ProSilk Gold Flat Iron.
