Huff and Ott of SSOE's Nashville Office Become LEED® Accredited Professionals

Brentwood, TN, April 22, 2009- SSOE, Inc., one of the nation's largest architecture and engineering firms, announces two additional staff members have earned LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) by passing the LEED for New Construction Exam. The LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) credential designates that the individual has the knowledge and skills to facilitate the LEED certification process.Suzan HuffandJacob Otthave become accredited and will help SSOE meet the growing demand for green design and engineering.

Suzan Huff, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, Architectural Department Manager and Senior Associate, has 15 years of experience in architectural design and project management. She has a diversified knowledge of architectural principles, practices and methods in various building types for new construction, renovations, and additions. Huff's experience includes healthcare, commercial, educational, and industrial project types. She earned her Master of Architecture Degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY and her Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY.

Jacob Ott, EI, LEED AP, Engineering Intern, has 4 years of experience in the Automotive and Industrial Facilities sector of SSOE. He is responsible for the design and specification of HVAC, dust collection, and utility piping systems for automotive, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Ott earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio.
