Beth Ginsberg Named Mentor Of The Year by King County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division

Beth Ginsberg, a partner in the Seattle office of Stoel Rives LLP, has been named Mentor Of The Year by the Young Lawyers Division of the King County Bar Association.

Stoel Rives LLP, a full-service U.S. business law firm, is pleased to announce that Beth Ginsberg is a recipient of the 2009 Mentor of the Year award given by the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the King County Bar Association. Given yearly by the YLD, the award recognizes outstanding contributions to the teaching, training and professional development of young lawyers. Recipients are selected from letters of nomination and are recognized at the YLD Winter Gala.

Ginsberg is a partner in the firm whose practice focuses on environmental, wildlife and natural resource litigation, permitting, and counseling for both public and private interests, including hydroelectric power facilities, port authorities, cities and counties, private landowners, energy producers and users, and industrial and navigational interests. She has served as the firm’s Seattle office hiring partner and was selected as one of "America's Leading Lawyers for Business" (Washington) by Chambers USA (Environment), has been listed in Best Lawyers in America, was chosen by Washington Law & Politics as one of Washington's "Super Lawyers," was chosen as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Washington, and was selected for inclusion in the International Who's Who of Environment Lawyers as well as Who's Who Legal: USA – Environment. Ginsberg also serves as a board member and former Executive Committee member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound.

Ginsberg is a graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo (J.D.) and Northwestern University (B.A., Phi Beta Kappa). She is admitted to practice by the bars of Washington, Oregon, New York and the District of Columbia and before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Oregon and the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Ninth, Eleventh, and Federal Circuits and the Federal Court of Claims.
