Wayne, NJ—Friday, November 20, 2009---Valley National Bank, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Valley National Bancorp (NYSE:VLY), has promoted Ira Robbins to First Senior Vice President and Treasurer.
Mr. Robbins joined Valley National Bank in 1996 as part of the Bank’s Management Associate Program. He is currently responsible for asset and liability management, liquidity management, debt and capital management, strategic planning, budgeting and derivative management.
Mr. Robbins received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Economics from Susquehanna University in 1996. He graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 2001 and received his Masters of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Pace University in 2005.
